Brilliant clarity, strength, wet-out and optimal brightness, this Hexcel HIMAX Quadaxial cloth is woven to exacting standards in the UK. Optically clear with Seabase Epoxy and Polyester resins, this is the world standard of clean and clear fibreglass renowned for its consistency and lack of issues.
Hexcel HIMAX Quadaxial 5 oz fibreglass surfboard cloth is suitable for all marine use, especially to spread load and as patches on boat decks, around stantions, surfboards, long boards and paddle boards. Optically balanced and compatible with both Epoxy and Polyester Resins. This cloth is a plain weave with a flatter twist weave structure for easy wet-out. Use Hexcel 4 oz 1522 and 471 cloths for more critical applications.
Perfect with Silmar, ISO 10X resins, and especially the new Seabase QS 10M range, and with Resin Research Epoxy, giving superb wet out, clarity and wrap-ability.
