Speedcote WB8 is a water-based (non-hazardous) acrylic seal finish for wood and fibreglass. Produces a clean, matt finish. Use to seal fibreglass after laminating, essential as fibreglass absorbs moisture over time. Creamy coloured, dries to a water-clear matt finish.
Note: This coating is not a high build finish unless multiple coats are applied. Abrades over time. A tougher, more permanent solution is solvent based Speedcote S7.

2-3 coats per side is a sufficient application. Can be diluted with 5% water to regulate the flow through your air gun for an ideal spray. Quick drying. Quick curing. Overcoat within 30 minutes, full cure within 8 hours. This new version is a high solid content tough, methacrylated coating made specifically for coating wood, fibreglass and other areas requiring a hard wearing surface. Also known as Speedcote. Non inflammable. Can be an irritant. See the SDS for full details.
