Ballistics! That’s what begat Space-Glass or S-Glass as its known. S2-Glass is the commercial version of the still commercially sensitive S-glass. S2 is a purer form of E-glass with better qualities to make stiffer, stronger laminates. Needs a bit of care as S2-glass can cause unwanted stress; if you use it on the deck, use it on the bottom. Strong and clean, S2-Glass is ideal in situations required lightness and strength. (This cloth does not have the Seabase enhanced heat treatment or optically matched clear finish). Made by heating out impurities in fibreglass, S2 is a purer form of E-glass with better qualities to make stiffer, stronger laminates.
