Seabase Product Warranty

 

Product Warranty:  All our products leave the warehouse in perfect condition. Since the brands we represent are the best in the industry, most of them contain comprehensive guarantees. These do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Seabase is a customer centred business. We will take all your problems seriously and always attempt to resolve any problems in mutually beneficial ways.

      Second Quality goods are sold as seen with no warranty or guarantee. Generally, seconds or reject goods are structurally sound, but may have underlying problems that prevent them being sold as first quality. These problems in surfboards are clearly flagged, in other products they may not be.
 
Otherwise:
  • Boardworks Surfboards: No guarantees against breakage (typically a Sports Equipment guarantee) or damage caused by circumstances outside of our control. 2 months against other manufacturing defects.
  • INT Seasoft Surfboards: No guarantees against breakage or damage caused by circumstances outside of our control. 6 months on other manufacturing defects.
  • SeaSoft Surfboard Brands: No guarantees on breakage or damage caused by circumstances outside of our control. 6 months on all manufacturing defects. 3 months for surf schools.
  • Quiver Surfboards:  No guarantees on breakage or damage caused by circumstances outside of our control. 6 months on all manufacturing defects.
Creatures of Leisure: All Creatures of Leisure products a guaranteed as follows:
  • Bags & Covers: Guaranteed for 12 months against manufacturing defects including zips and materials, manufacture and straps and buckles
  • Leashes: guaranteed for 6 months against breakage, but not fin cuts or misuse.
  • Deck Grips: Guaranteed for 6 months against fading, peeling and splitting, but only if applied to new boards and if purchased unpackaged.
  • Accessories: 12 months against all defects in manufacturing. Not guaranteed if used in excess of recommendations on all packaging.

Sticky Bumps Wax:  Warranted to work as described. It’s a wax! What do you want from it! It’s guaranteed to get dirty, wear down, need replacing frequently, to be the best there is, provide grip, give you lovely smells as you surf, as you wax, in your car, in your board bag, in your bedroom if you sleep with your board. Its good stuff – all the pros use it.

 

SurfCo Hawaii: Guaranteed to be manufactured to the highest standards, and to be fit for the purposes for which the products are intended. We cannot think of the last time we had a SurfCo product returned – these are top quality products. The repair kits have a shelf life of 6 months from purchase. The fins do not break, generally, but if they do it would be under exceptional circumstances. 6 months on those. Nose guards etc – well they wear off eventually as board noses hit the sand. We’ll stand by faulty ones though.

 

True Ames Fins: If you can break one of these – laminated as they are with 25 layers of fibreglass, we’ll definitely replace it up to 6 months from date of purchase. No quibble guarantees as these are the peak of quality. Brilliant fins.

 

Seabase Products: We take huge pride in our products. We’ve been making them for 25 years, and have over 40 years experience in this industry

  • Repair Kits: 3 months from date of purchase. The resin has a maximum useable shelf life of three months.
  • Fins: 12 months against breakage, 6 months all other defects.
  • Accessories: 12 months from date of purchase.
