At Seabase we only ever stock the best foam.  That is why we were Clark Foam's only European distributor for many years.  We now sell US Blanks surfboard foam who follow the quality control and close tolerance high strength to weight surfboard foam principles we used to see with Clark Foam.  US Blanks is however a stronger and better product.

Straight stringers!  This should be a given right?  Well, compare this to some UK and South African foam and you'll see what we are talking about.  Fortunately our shapers demand the best from us and that's why we are pedantic about using where possible straight solid wood stringers from renewable sources.  The stringer is one of the most important parts of the foam - it holds the rocker and provides the correct amount of flexibility.

 

Close Tolerance - Surfboard foam should be easy to hand shape, and having close tolerance foam which is close to shape saves time in the shaping bay and uses less resources.  Additionally as US Blanks surfboard foam is designed by the biggest names in the industry our surfboard foam is ideal for machine cuts without causing loads of wastage.
