US Blanks 902A 1/2" Basswood
US Blanks - without doubt the strongest, accurate, most user friendly foam on the market. The stringers are straight, clean and easy to plane.
Thias is a Pat Rawson designed 902A.
9'03" 5/8" x 22 3/8" x 3 9/16" thick with a 1/2" Basswood Stringer for strength. This thicker stringer may be heavier, but you can glass more lightly and reduce breakages.
Shaper's Comments: This newly made 92"A blank was lengthened to easily net a 92" bottom length. I redesigned the rail shape for less waste and stronger foam, and I also widened the nose @12" by ½", the wide point by 5/8", and the tail @12" by ½", as to be a more useful blank in this size/volume range. The new natural rocker in this mold design is the original 91"A +3/8" nose, +1/2" tail.
