These rovings are strings of fibreglass bundles in a continuous roving.

Cut to length, and used in bundles, they form the fillet used as a base to support glass-on fins on surfboards.

Essential if you are glassing on fin sets, but quite honestly a pain for us - we have to wind them off by hand.....
