Seabase, working closely with US Blanks and Hexcel fibreglass, and two years in house development and experimentation has resulted in Seaflex® and E-Series  programmes have been exhaustively tested for maximum returns on strength v flex, and strength v weight.

As a result we are all proud to launch the new Quiver® range of highly technical custom surfboards. The Quiver® LQT Pro is the pinnacle of all that can be done with these new highly technical materials right now.

 

The Specification is huge. A light weight super-fused EPS core with milled Balsa stringers (from renewable sources only) set in a computer controlled parabolic curve. 

 

The shape is hand finished,  the blank sealed with a unique 'breathable' filler, laminated with Epoxy over 4-oz cloth, or 3 oz S-Glass when lightness is needed. The board is baked for 24 hours at elevated temperatures. Hi modulus uni-directional carbon fibre rails lap the stringers, balanced for optimum flex and adjustable for different characteristics of flex and feel. (The difference is that current similar parabolic technology has set patterns and cannot be changed.)

Finished with “White Flash!”, fine sanded and either finished with a unique new smooth Teflon® coating for maximum dirt resistance and appearance, or our totally unique new Tuffcoat scratch- resistant coating, left fine for maximum frictionless speed. (new for 2010 - see here for more information)

Result – probably the best looking surfboard available today – with the bonus of unreal performance. It’s a step-up so marked you’ll never go back to your normal board again. Snap turns, latent energy you can feel, quicker transitions from rail to rail, speed with no loss through flex, drive that translates more quickly into speed - like an electronic gearbox with millisecond responses.

Highly strung, fine tuned and very progressive, this board is only for those looking for more performance and reliability.
