We've been surfing for 45 years and making surfboards for 20 years. The Seabase company is 25 years old this year. You may not have heard of us - that's probably because there is no Seabase surfboard brand. We have worked quietly behind the scenes in the industry making surfboards and supplying materials to the industry for 25 years from our Seaglass factory in the 80's then under the Seabase organisation.

 

We have made and supplied surfboards for many of the the most famous names in the surfing world including, Hobie, HIC, Rusty, Stewart, Turtle Bay, Gul, Tunnel Vision, Nineplus, Bilbo, Boardwalk and many other local and overseas names. We still manufacture many of the local surfboards sold in Newquay, Cornwall, and sell world-wide. Our emphasis has always been on quality - and even today all our boards proudly display the 100% quality 100% waterproof sticker - hewn from experience and competition success. We probably hold more European titles than any other board company in Europe. Our surfboards are in all the major surfshops in Europe, and sold in New Zealand & Australia. We modestly believe we are recognised as making and selling the best quality surfboards in the world!

 

Our emphasis is now on our own high quality surfboards from the Quiver® range. However, we also sell a range of surfboards to suit all surfers, including INT Surfboards, Seasoft Europe, Turtle Bay, Nineplus (in Europe only), and other surfboards built or supplied under license, including HIC Eric Arakawas. Whether the board is made or supplied by us, you can be totally assured it meets with our approval, and is 100% fit for the purpose intended. We won't ever blind side you with a sub-standard product, or service.

 

Every surfboard you buy is warranted; there is no other company you can buy from in Europe with as much confidence as you can buying a Seabase supplied surfboard!  Its tough out there; and this is one industry where you simply have to beware....
